Megan E. Hotchkiss has been writing stories almost from the moment she learned to hold a pen, and began attending writer's workshops when she was nine years old. Her first taste of fame came at the age of thirteen, when her children's fantasy story, The Trees Talk, won first prize in the Napanee Conservation Authority's Short Story Contest. She has never looked back.
